Whether you are completely new to sailing or you have been out sailing before but never had the confidence or knowledge to get involved, then the Competent Crew course is the ideal starting point for you. This five day course gives you the opportunity to get involved with sailing a yacht and teaches you all the skills you need to be a competent crew member, from tying fenders to using a winch.

You will spend your time sailing around the solent and visiting some of the most picturesque places on the Isle of Wight and the South Coast such as Yarmouth, Newtown Creek, Beaulieu and Hamble. After a long day of sailing this scenic spot, you can either cook onboard or venture out to a local pub, where you can sit back, relax and reflect on your exciting day of sailing.
